Author - Laura Peñate

Bachelor degree as Telecommunication Engineer at University of Las Palmas de GC. In September 2003, She obtained a M. Sc. in Opto-Electronics and Optical Information Processing from Queen’s University of Belfast. In September 2007, she obtained her Ph.D in the Nano-structured Media Research Division at IRCEP at Queen’s University of Belfast. Laura Peñate is working in ALTER TECHNOLOGY since 2008 and is directly involved in photonic parts evaluation for harsh environment applications covering a very large range of parts from basic optoelectronic devices (LEDS, photodiodes) up to more complex systems such as optical modulator, optical amplifiers, etc…for some ESA projects as SOLAR ORBITER, BEPI COLOMBO as well as specific TRP contracts.
