Development, Evaluation and Qualification of Electronic Components for Space Applications

The Alter Technology Chair – UNIVERSIDAD DE SEVILLA is established to promote collaboration between the University and the company, to develop, in the field of electronic components, both academic activities, research and related issues.

The main objective of this Chair is the promotion of interdisciplinary teaching and research activities that study the reality, problems and perspectives of the development of new strategies and technologies linked to electronic components and associated microelectronic technologies. The applications of these works are of high reliability and in severe environmental environments, including for example applications in space.

The chair will also encourage a university culture in the university students through the formation of different aspects related to the organization, culture and values ​​within the company. For this purpose, training programs and research tasks are developed that contribute to improving the formation of these subjects among the students of the University..

The rector of the University of Seville, Miguel Ángel Castro, and the director of Alter Technology, Luis Gómez, on March 3, 2017 have signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of the Alter Technology Chair – Development, Evaluation and Qualification of Components Electronics for Space Applications.
